On Android (vivo / Xiaomi / Huawei / OPPO etc.), if no icon appears after Step 1, the browser likely lacks the "create shortcut" permission. Follow the picture below 👇
1Open the phone's Settings (gear icon ⚙️).
2Find and tap "Apps" (or "Apps & permissions").
3Find "Chrome" (or the browser you use), tap it.
4Tap "Permissions".
5Find "Create home screen shortcuts", turn the switch on (green).
6Go back to the browser and repeat Step 1 — the icon appears.
